Michael Tischler, DDS joins The New Nash Institute for Dental Learning faculty as Director Of Implant Education .
Dr. Michael Tischler graduated from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1989 and is in private
practice in Woodstock, NY. Dr. Tischler has placed and restored well over a thousand implants with a success rate
over 97%. As a general dentist and Nationally renowned lecturer, Dr. Tischler conveys the surgical and prosthetic
principles to his colleagues in a very approachable way.
Dr. Tischler is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is also a Diplomat
and Fellow of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry,
Fellow of The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Fellow of The Misch International Implant Institute,
Associate Fellow of The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and an Associate Member of The American
Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Tischler has been listed by “Dentistry Today,” as a leader in continuing education since 2003. He is also a
contributing editor for this widely read dental journal. Dr. Tischler has offered many in-office courses over the
years and has spoken at The Greater New York Dental Meeting, for the: The Academy of General Dentistry, The
New York County Dental Society, The Toronto Implant Study Club, The Third District Dental Society, The Ninth
District Dental Society, The Greater Long Island Dental Meeting, The Big Apple Dental Meeting and The
American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is an educator for Biohorizons Inc.
Dr. Tischler has published over 20 Implant and Grafting articles in Journals such as The New York State Dental
Journal, Dentistry Today, Inside Dentistry, Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice, and the International
Magazine of Implant Dentistry
