September 10th-11th, 2010
Implant dentistry is the standard of care to replace missing teeth. This is the future of dentistry and it is here now.
You can't open up a dental journal without seeing an article or advertisement about dental implants or bone
grafting. Most general dentists are intimidated about the many areas involved in these disciplines and this course
will demystify implant dentistry and bone grafting. As a general dentist performing all aspects of these disciplines
on a daily basis. Dr. Tischler will create a level of comfort with grafting and dental implant dentistry.
Through understanding treatment planning and the surgical and prosthetic steps involved, you will start to
integrate these imperative disciplines into your practice. Dr. Tischler conveys this through multiple case examples
that bring the attendee through the treatment planning process, to the surgery to the prosthetics. Through a
dentist seeing all these steps, they can bring these concepts to their practice on the level they feel comfortable
with.
This 2 day course maintains a consistent theme of having bone support an ideal implant position and bone
supporting tissue for ideal esthetics. The other consistent theme is treatment planning with CAT Scan for success.
It will be shown how you do not need to have a CAT Scan machine or invest in software for this to occur.
Not only will the clinical aspects of these disciplines be covered, but practice management pertaining to implants,
marketing, informed consent, staff duties and supply organization will be covered.
